ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Who We Are and What We Believe
New Prospect is a missionary baptist church. She is independent of any overhead organization, yet cooperates with churches composing the American Baptist Association, Missionary Baptist Association of Arkansas, and the Mt. Vernon Association to send the Gospel to the entire world through mission endeavors.

New Prospect believes the Bible is the inspired Word of God. As such, it is our rule and practice.

New Prospect believes that Christ is the Son of God, virgin born, sinless in His life, substitutionary in His death, and risen from the grave through faith in Him.

New Prospect believes that salvation is offered to every individual without price; that the choice of your own destiny rests in your own hands in accepting or rejecting Jesus as Savior and that because of the excercise of your will, you will be eternally in Heaven or Hell.

New Prospect believes that the church was established during the personal ministry of Christ for the purpose of carrying the Gospel to the world and to provide a spiritual home for the saved. We further believe the Lord's church is always a local assembly.
